Itinerary

Day 1 (L)

This morning, drive to the famous Wuzhen Ancient Water Town which is listed as TOP 10 Ancient Towns in China. Upon arrival, take a ferry and arrive at Indigo Fabric Workshop. Indigo Fabric Workshop is a traditional workshop in the town with over 150-year history, producing the beautiful blue printed cloth. Then visit Zhaoming Academy, the private school of prince of South Liang Dynasty, Prince Zhaoming. Foot-binding Museum is famous for its large quantities of small shoes and its distinguished foot-binding culture. We can know more about foot-binding in China.

Lunch, enjoy the local dishes.

Afternoon visit the famous Twin Bridges and get the nice view of Grand Canal on top of the bridge. Then take a leisurely boat and enjoy the beautiful views of the ancient town. Land at the Live Water Garden and visit the charming private garden of former rich family. Yichang Wok Factory and Xuchang Soy Sauce Workshop are two old workshops where you will get to know the traditional handicraft. Then take a ferry and land on the entrance exit, drive back to Shanghai.
