Itinerary
Day 1 (L)
This morning, drive to Zhouzhuang, No.1 Water town in China. Upon arrival, visit Zhouzhuang Museum, get to know the history of the renowned ancient town and splendid culture. Then visit the famous Twin Bridges which made the town well-known in the world for the first time ever among all the ancient towns in China. Continue to visit the typical residences of South of Yangtze River, the residence of Family Zhang and Family Shen. Then take a leisurely boat along the water courses and enjoy the beautiful view of the town.
Lunch enjoy the local dishes.
Afternoon, visit the Old Theatre and watch the famous KunQu which is listed as the Masterpieces of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO. The rest of the day, you are free to explore on the bustling flagstone streets in the old town.
After that, drive back to Shanghai. |
