Itinerary

This morning, drive to the famous Tongli Ancient Water town which is listed as TOP 10 Ancient Towns in China. Upon arrival, visit the famous Tuisi Garden, a typical private garden of South of Yangtze River. The garden has an exquisite layout with bridge, tower, corridor, chamber, hall, house and pavilion together. Then visit Chongben Hall where you can see many exquisitely designed wood carvings. Three Bridges is very hot for local people. It is said that people who get through the three bridges at the wedding day will be lucky all his life. Jiayin Hall, a former private house of Family Liu, is famous for its exquisite carvings and special layout. Nanyuan Tea House is a two-storey building with a typical structure of South of Yangtze River. You can experience the origin life of local people as well as enjoy the music by traditional instruments.

Afternoon, continue to visit the Five Crane Gate which is well-known for its vivid and exquisite brick carvings. Then hang around on Ming & Qing Street and explore on your own. After that, drive back to Shanghai.
