Day 1 Shanghai—Xiamen—Nanjing (D)
This morning, take a non-stop flight from Shanghai to Xiamen, meet the local guide and drive to Nanjing County. (About 3 hours). Upon arrival, start to visit the famous World Cultural Heritage, Tulou (Hakka Earth Buildings). We will visit the famous Tianluoken Tulou complex, the leaning Yuchang House and Taxia Water Village.
Stay overnight at the local inn in the village.
Day 2 Yongding—Zhangpu—Xiamen (B/L)
After breakfast, drive to Yongding and visit the ancient road and its well-preserved villages. Hegui Tower is famous as the Giant Blockhouse on wetland. And Huanyuan Tower is considered as Scholar’s Home for its cultural heritages.
Then drive to Zhangpu (About 2 hours) and visit the Tianfu Tea Museum, where introduces the history and culture of tea as well as tea-related art and handicrafts. Besides, there will be a chance to enjoy the tea ceremony show and taste the famous Tie Guan Yin Tea.
Then drive back to the Xiamen city. Stay at the 4 star Bailuzhou Hotel.
Day 3 Xiamen(B/ L)
This morning, start the visit to famous Nanputuo Temple, a famous Buddhist temple of south China. Then drive to the famous and beautiful coastline road and walk a section of it. After lunch, take a ferry to Gulangyu Island, the most famous scenery in Xiamen. Visit Shuzhuang Garden, Guanfu Classic Art Museum and Piano Museum from which we can get to know the history about the island and its glory. Then visit the Hi-heaven Villa Complex and enjoy the local interesting puppet show. On the way, we will pass by the world style colonial architectures, musical hall and church.
Stay at 4 star Bailuzhou Hotel.
[Or we offer the option of staying one night in boutique hotel on Gulangyu Island. Difference would be noticed that it is quieter on the island compared with spending one more night in city area. However it is also reminded that the transportation between the island and city area is not very convenient in the evening. ]
Day 4 Xiamen—Shanghai (B/L)
This morning, visit the famous Huihe Stone Carvings Garden and enjoy the local traditional performance by young Hui'an lady. This afternoon, drive to the airport for the departure flight.
