Main attraction—Mt. Qingcheng, one of the most famous Taoist mountains in China
Dujiangyan water project is the oldest and only surviving no-dam irrigation system in the world and a wonder in the development of Chinese science. Now, the project is honored as the Treasure of Sichuan, which still plays a crucial role in draining off floodwater, irrigating farms and providing water resources for more than 50 cities in the province.

Itinerary
Day 1 Shanghai-Chengdu
Fly to Chengdu, upon arrival, meet the local guide and transfer to Dynasty Hotel or the same class.
Day 2 Chengdu-Dujiangyan Irrigation System, Qingcheng Taoist Mountain （B/L）
After breakfast, drive to Dujiangyan city, visit the world heritage—Irrigation System with over 2000-year history, including the old water project, temples and a beautiful garden park.
Continue your trip to Mt. Qingcheng, which is regarded as one of the birth place of Daoism. It is both for beautiful sceneries and religious visit.
Drive back to Chengdu. In the evening, we advise you to visit Kuan Zhai Lane in your free time. The lane is renowned for the residential house with Qing Dynasty style, souvenir shops and bars.
Stay at Dynasty Hotel or the same class.
Day 3 Chengdu-Shanghai （B/L）
This morning, visit Chengdu Reserve Base of Giant Panda Breeding, where you will see lovely giant pandas as well as bamboo forest and swan lake.
In the afternoon, continue your trip to Wuhou Temple, which is an old shrine in memory of famous characters during the Three Kingdoms Period. Next to famous Jinli Street, a narrow ancient street with lined venders of all Sichuan handicrafts.
Then drive to the airport for your departure flight to Shanghai. |
