Shen Garden, a private garden built in Song dynasty, is famous for its fascinating views and a love story of Poet Lu You which is handed down by many generations. Orchid Pavilion was famous since East Jin dynasty in A.D. 353 for its fabulous preface of poet collection. Now,Orchid Pavilion is hometown of Chinese Calligraphy.

Itinerary

Day 1 (L)

This morning, drive to Shaoxing through Hangzhou Bay Bridge (the longest bridge crossing the sea in the world ), visit the former residence of Mr. Lunxun and Sanwei School where the literary giant studied in his childhood.

Continue to Shen Garden, well-known for a tragedy love story of the great poet Lu You in Song dynasty. Then visit the renowned Orchid Pavilion for its finest calligraphy in China.

After that, return to Shanghai.
