Qufu has more than 2,500 years of history. Best known as the hometown of First Sage Confucius in China, it was the home of his descendants - who often ruled the place as feudal rulers - for many centuries.
As one of the five most famous mountains in China, it is recognized as the head of the Five-mountain and defined to be East-mountain adoringly. Many emperors climbed to the top for enthronement or other significant ceremonies in ancient China, for they considered it to be a symbol of Chinese power that given by master of nature. |

Itinerary
Day 1
Meet the local guide at Jinan airport and transfer to Jinan city for the city tour, which includes Baotu Spring, Daming Lake and spend some time on Quancheng Square. Check in the hotel (4★)
Day 2
After breakfast, drive to Qufu - Confucius Hometown(1.5hours), visit Temple of Confucius, Kong Family Mansion, Confucius Cemetery - all above three are the most famous places that you get to learn about the first Sage - Confucius. Then drive to Taian (1.5hours). Check in the hotel (4*)
Day 3
After breakfast, drive to the foot of Mt. Tai and you may choose to walk up to the top of mountain (2 hours in total) while you will experience climbing over 1,600 steps, enjoying pine trees in various shapes, upon on the top, there are South Heaven Gate, Sky Street, etc. to visit and it is another 1.5hours to the highest point - Jade Emperor’s Top (1,545m). The ones who don’t want to climb all the way can choose to take cable chair (10 mins) up to the top, then spend the 1.5hours on the top of the mountain.
Take the cable chair down and drive back to Jinan, take the flight back to Shanghai.
