Day 1 Shanghai-Zhangjiajie
This evening, fly from Shanghai to Zhangjiajie. Upon arrival, meet the local guide and transfer to check-in at Zhangjiajie Huatian Hotel.
Day 2 Furongzhen (Hibiscus Town)-Feng Huang (B/L/D)
After breakfast, drive to visit Furongzhen Town (2 hours), small Tujia town famous for residential houses, paved bluestone paths, native people and the movie Hibiscus Town. Continue to visit Dehang Miao Village (2.5 hours drive), where Miao ethnic group will greet you warmly and happily. Continue with one hour drive to arrive ’Feng Huang’ Town. 'Feng Huang' is 'Phoenix' in Chinese, the mythical bird of good omen and longevity. Upon entering the town the visitor will be impressed by its air of mystery. The Stile Tower, Baltic Workshop, Ancient City Gate and the old stone slate street all make you feel like travel in the ancient time. This ancient small town, according to New Zealand writer Rewi Alley, is one of the two most picturesque small towns in China, with colourful and hospitable people.

Day 3 Fenghuang Ancient Town (B/L/D)
Today have tour around in Fenghuang. Imagine wandering the narrow streets of this "Ancient City of History and Culture," dancing and singing with local Miao and Tujia people, listening to an old man telling ancient fairy tales, and wondering how this small city nourished so many famous writers and artists. A river cruise will be included on Tuo River, along which one can see the old style of miao’s people houses and the Eastern Gate Tower, Former Residence of Shen Congwen(1902-1988), who was a master of modern literature. After dinner, enjoy your free evening to explore the charming ancient town.

Day 4 Zhangjiajie(B/LD)
After breakfast, drive back to Zhangjiajie(4 hours). In the afternoon, visit the Golden Whip Stream, which flows past the rock and winds its way between precipitous cliffs and peaks; followed by a visit to the Four Gates surrounding by Water,
Stay at 4 star Zhuanjiacun hotel or the same standard.
Day 5 Zhangjiajie-Shanghai(B/L/D)
In the morning, take cable car to the Tianzi Mountain, which is a virgin scenic attraction, “most beautiful but not yet known to the world for its height.” You will have a bird view to all the mountains and valleys; visiting Western Sea, viewing Terrace, etc. In the afternoon, you will tour to Yuanjiajie Scenic Area (up and down by cable cars), where you will find the “First Bridge under Heaven”, and then take cruising on Baofeng Lake, after dinner fly back to Shanghai.
