Itinerary

The tour starts in the morning and spends most of the time in a worker’s community area, which is one of the earliest in the Red New China’s history. Built mostly in 1950s, this community holds the residents of workers’ families.

Before cooking starts, the tour will take a stop at a fresh market and with guide’s instructions everyone would buy some ingredients and materials that are needed for cooking by themselves; as lunch time comes, one of the locals’ home will open the door and host guests for a cooking practice and lunch.

After lunch, tour will continue to take a stop at community kindergarden, hospital, senior’s home and possibly enjoy a performance at the community activity center.
