West Lake

 


As one of the most famous scenic area in China, the West Lake lies in the west of Hangzhou city. It features the fascinating landscapes, renowned relic sites and fabulous lake views.

It covers an area of 4.37 sq. km. and a lakeshore of 15 km long. The average water depth is 1.5 meter. Su Causeway and Bai Causeway separate the whole lake into 5 parts.
