 Karon is the second largest beach in Phuket Island. It is 20 km away from the downtown and close to the Patong Beach. Unlike the busy Patong Beach, it is marine bathing spot. With little radin, the straight coast line is 3 km long. A large area of pine trees scatter along the beach which makes the beach spacious and relaxing.
The night life in Karon is concentrated on Luang Poh Chuan Road. On the way, there are a lot of bars. Coffee shop in Nakonai Art Plaza is very popular for visitors. In the middle section, there is a famous restaurant, Bangla Plaza.
