Cicheng
Locating by the side of Yao River, Ci cheng is a famous historic and cultural town in Ningbo. It is the only provincial protection zone of ancient buildings of Ming and Qing dynasty. With the historic heritage over 2400 years, it is famous for the Confucian culture, imperial examination culture, and town-autonomy culture.
At the northeast of the town, there are 33 important units of ancient relic under the national protection. With the completion and opening of Confucian Temple, Ya men (government office in ancient China), Xia shi hall, Ci lake and other precious site of the ancient town show people the stunning and bright side for the first time ever.
