Tai Lake
It lies in the southern centre of Taihu Lake. Facing the East Hill Scenic Area, the West Hill is composed of Dongting west hill and the other close-by islands. It is famous for the unique landscapes and the historic sites of the period of Wu & Yue.
Among the 72 peaks in Tai Lake, the West Hill proper boasts 41 layer upon layer encircling peaks rising in emerald verdure. Each view, distant or close, would offer you immense artistic enjoyment. Most part of the West Hill is covered by various kinds of flowers and fruits.
In the recent years, the opening of Tai Lake Bridge has offered people great convenience from nearby cities to West Hill which makes the quiet land a bustling tourist attraction now.
