Guangzhou TV Tower

    The Canton Tower (also known as Guangzhou TV Tower) is near Haizhu District, Guangzhou. It was topped-out in 2009 and open to public on September29, 2010 for the 2010 Asian Games.

    The Canton Tower is the second tallest building in the world after Burj Dubai in Dubai, UAE. With a height of 600 meters, the tower is designed by the Dutch architects Mark Hemel and Barbara Kuit. It is not only used for satellite transmission, but also for sightseeing. Standing on the tower, you can get a bird view of the landscape of the whole city. Since 1st October 2010, it has been opened to the public and become a new landmark in Guangzhou.
