Xingfu Temple
Xingfu temple, a renowned temple in China, lies on the north foot of Mt.Yushan in Changshu. It was built in South Qi dynasty (494 A.D.-502 A.D.) and became a famous temple of the South of Yangtze River since Tang dynasty. In the temple, there is a famous pagoda, Xingfu pagoda. It was firstly built in South Song dynasty (1,130 A.D.) with 7 floors and changed into 9 floors later. It was also called Square Pagoda for its rectangle form. The pagoda is well-preserved since its establishment which indicates the advanced technology in ancient China as well as leaves us the precious research material.
